Secondly, there is an even bigger shift coming with Generation Z. Although still very young – mostly in their teenage years – Generation Z is so accustomed to technology that digitalisation in healthcare is not a question of improvement, but a standard. Robotics, virtual reality in operating rooms, highly functional and detailed wearables, predictive medicine and targeted treatment are just a few trends that will be considered normal for this generation.
